This article teaches you how to quickly increase your Snapchat Score. Snapchat Score increases when you send and open photo and video Snaps and post Stories.
Check your current Snapchat Score.
Open Snapchat, then tap the profile icon in the top left. You can see the current score below your name in the middle of the page. You can tap the score to see an overview of how many snaps you’ve sent and how many you’ve opened.
Send snaps often.
Your Snap Score will increase by one point for every Snap you send, so make snapping to your friends a regular part of your daily routine. If you don’t use Snapchat for a few days, your first snap after that timeout will be rewarded with six points.
Send Snaps to multiple friends at once.
You get one point for every friend you send a snap to. You’ll often get another point for sending the snap itself. For example, if you send a snap to ten people, you’ll get ten to eleven points. After taking a snap and tapping the white “send” arrow, you can tap friends’ names to select them. Each person you select will receive your snap when you tap the send arrow again. The more people you send Snaps to, the more often you’ll get Snaps to reopen.
Open unread snaps.
You get one point for each Snap you open. To open a Snap, tap the red (photo) or purple (video) box next to the sender’s name. Replaying Snaps will not earn you additional points.
Avoid sending text snaps.
Sending a text message through Snapchat will not earn you any points, nor will opening text messages. You can avoid sending chat messages by tapping a chat message from a friend and then tapping the circular “Capture” button above the keyboard to reply with a photo.
Add snaps to your story.
Each snap you add to your story earns you another point. To add a snap to your story, tap the send arrow on a full snap, then tap the My Story circle in the top-left corner.
Add friends on Snapchat.
You often get a point for every friend request you accept, or someone else accepts. This isn’t a particularly long-term strategy, but it’s good to know if you’re just starting out on Snapchat. You may not get a point for every friend you add, especially if you add public figures like celebrities.
A high Snapchat Score helps unlock certain Snapchat Trophies. Do streaks with people because it means you have to send snaps on a daily basis.
Avoid software that claims to increase your Snapchat score – the Snapchat scoring algorithm cannot be changed. If your score doesn’t seem to be increasing, you may need to update the app.
